10 hours of intensive dance and rhythm classes with HOSSAM and SERENA RAMZY

The unique opportunity to learn how to interpret the music intuitively and become part of the music-not just from the perspective of a talented dancer, but from the perspective of a world-renowned percussionist, musician, composer and international dance instructor.

I.workshop (5hrs)
A Classical Egyptian Dance Workshop:
The 70’s and 80’s have been named the Golden Era of Modern Egyptian Dance. In this workshop, Serena has created a new choreography to the song“Mahasin Essodaf” from Hossam’s multi award winning album “Faddah" .
Grand introduction, intricate Baladi Dancing within the composition,  and much more. This music is a revival of the times when the big names of the Egyptian dance such as Mona El Said, Hala El Safy, Shushu Amin and Azza Sherif enjoyed being the queens of the dance in Egypt’s club scene.
A must for all Egyptian Style Dancers…

II workshop (5 hrs)
 A Sabla Tolo Choreography that will rock you
Due to a huge public demand,Serena and Hossam are putting on this workshop, breaking down a powerful choreography by Serena  to Hossam’s dynamic drum solo composition “My Brazilian Pearl”, from his Best Selling album “Sabla Tolo II”.
You will learn Hossam’s intricate rhythms and you will dance Serena’s exciting and dynamic steps. You will be fusing sounds and moves from Egypt, Brazil, Tunisia, The Arabian Gulf together with the heart and soul of Africa

THE ADVANCED DANCERS, TEACHERS and PROFESSIONAL PERFORMERS CERTIFIED COURSE with HOSSAM RAMZY and SERENA in London
This course is aimed at dancers who want to become fully professional in their dance career,to become knowledgeable in understanding:
All the dance rhythms
Able to recognise the various parts of the music. (Musical Structure within Egyptian Dance)
Able to express the music with movement and be creative in doing so.
Learn a high level of technique, movement and musical interpretation in various styles and influences.
Become knowledgeable in the various styles of Egyptian and Middle Eastern Dance.
Learn the various styles of dance, from the old "Stars of Egypt" Naima Akef, Taheya Karioka, Samya Gamal and many more.
Become flawless at designing their own choreographies and making the music come alive.
Handle all problems with regards to performing live to an audience. To pre- recorded or live music.
Learning the ability to dance with a LIVE BAND and interact with LIVE solo improvisations and handle all problems with regards to performing live to an audience while dancing to the music of a LIVE BAND.
Only few places are provided so individual approach during the course is guaranteed

The course is finished with the exam.
