Shokry Mohamed, Souhair Zaki, Nagwa Fouad, Azza Sherif i Mona el Said, podróżując po Egipcie i badająć korzenie orientalnej muzyki i tańca.

Joana napisał kilka artykułów do gazet i czasopism (o egipskiej kulturze, muzyce i tańcu) oraz dwie książki o magii egipskiego tańca orientalnego i jej "ścieżkach  odkrywania w kraju piramid".  Jedna z tych książek - "The secrets of Egypt - Dance, Life & Beyond" została już wydana. Jej nowa książka zostanie opublikowana w tym roku.

Joana jest  autorem "RAKS my world", pionierskiego projektu o nowym sposobie nauczania / reedukowania tancerek orientalnych, odsłaniającym prawdziwe bogactwo egipskiego tańca.
